Babies by the Bay at Mimi’s, Cronulla
Established as Mimi’s Kindergarten in 1959 by Judith Hewison OAM in an historic home built in the early 1900’s as a children’s guest house and day nursery. Mimi’s was one of the first childcare centres in New South Wales. Currently licenced for 38 children per day catering for ages 0-5 years providing high quality care for babies along with a school readiness program for preschoolers. Purchased in 2021 Mimi’s underwent an extensive restoration keeping its iconic pink exterior and retaining some of the original antique furniture, period fireplaces, ornate ceilings and rebranding the centre as Babies by the Bay at Mimi’s. Opening hours between 7am and 6pm Monday to Friday.
